Membership

Members receive substantial discounts on registration at all PMS meetings and workshops and other membrane-related activities co-sponsored by PMS.

Individuals, Institutes, Industries who are engaged in research, development, engineering, technology, consultancy or any other aspect of membranes or otherwise interested in membrane technology or related fields may obtain membership of PMS. Being involved as a member also entitles you to a free electronic newsletter “PMS E-News” which not only keeps you up to date of the membrane activities in Pakistan, latest news, job advertisement, awards and achievements in membrane advancement. It also gives members space to present their work, products and developments in science, technology and business. Members can nominate and vote in governing council elections. They will have opportunity to attend PMS workshop & networking events at discounted rates.

Membership Categories

Individual

This is a membership for individual working with membrane as academician/researcher. It may be faculty, postdoc and R&D professionals.

INSTITUTIONAL / CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

This is a membership of an institute, organization, university or a company with PMS. The head can recommend up to two (02) free Individual Memberships for its employees. Corporate member may advertise its approved logo with link to their website under the ‘Corporate Members’ page of the PMS website. They will be given opportunity to attend PMS workshop & networking events free of cost.

Student

• Entitled to the same benefits as Individual Members
• Eligible for discounted membership and services fees
• Eligible for the application of PMS travel awards
• Opportunity to attend freely PMS sponsored students events
• Must be a full-time student enrolled in a higher education institute, a young researcher

PMS Honorary member

The Governing Council of the Pakistan Membrane Society may decide to present the title of Honorary Member of the Society, to a particular personality in recognition of an outstanding contribution to education, science or technology in the field of Membranes and Membranes Processes or allied field.
