1st Pakistan Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes (PCOM 2021) was organized by the Pakistan Membrane Society in collaboration with Pak-Austria Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology (PAF-IAST). This one day even was held on 21st October, 2021 at PAF-IAST, Haripur, Pakistan. The participants from all over Pakistan participate in the event. The event comprised of plenary talks, key note talks, student oral presentations and a Challenge led IDEA workshop where participants from different Universities worked together to build consortium aiming at solution of national problems. As an outcome of this conference, different working groups were created to find solutions to national level problems.
PCOM 2021 forum provided an opportunity for membrane researchers, students and participants to interact, exchange experiences, best practices, ideas related to current and emerging issues associated with membrane technology. The event is expected to open new horizons for important networking, fruitful discussions and indeed will help for future directions.
